¿Qué es lo más bonito de la primavera? Durante la primavera las temperaturas suben y flores de todos los tipos y formas empiezan a florecer. Es uno de los espectáculos naturales más asombrantes cuando todas las flores comienzan a cobrar vida y a enriquecer la temporada con sus asombrosos colores. En las Islas Canarias la primavera es una extación especialmente mágica. 1. Flowers in the Parque Nacional del Teide
One of the spots that we have chosen is the National Park of El Teide on Tenerife. The National Park of El Teide is not only worth a visit because of the volcano El Teide, the highest peak of the Canary Islands and Spain. It is also the natural habitat of many endemic plants of the Canary Islands, that are beautifully blossoming during spring time. Two examples are the ” tajinaste rojo” and the ” violeta del Teide”, that can be found in the area of El Teide. 2. Flowers in the botanical garden Jardín Botánico Viera & Clavijo
Another opportunity to enjoy flowers during spring time on the Canary Islands is in the botanical garden Jardín Botánico Viera y Clavijo, which is located on the island of Gran Canaria. There, you can take a walk in the botanical garden and enjoy the variety of the stunning endemic flora and fauna of the Canary Islands, which is unique in its kind and only can be enjoyed on the Canary Islands. 3. Flowers in unexpected corners of the islands
You can also enjoy spring flowers in some areas of Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, where you might have not expected them to be. Most of the times, Fuerteventura is a very arid area but during spring, when there was enough rainfall, you can witness fields full of flowers on the island of Fuerteventura. Another example are the sunflower fields on Gran Canaria that are located at the foot of the Natural Park of Tamadaba. These sunflowers illuminate the area with their colors in the northwestern part of the island.

4. Blossoming almond trees on La Palma
La Palma is also known as “Isla Bonita” because of its beautiful lush nature and landscapes that distinguish it from all the other islands of the Canary Islands. During spring time, it is even more beautiful because of the almonds trees of La Palma, that bloom during the spring months and are a real joy to look at.
